Numismatic Section

Numismatics is the study or collection of currency including coins, paper money etc. Historians attach much importance to coins as a source material for the reconstruction of ancient History.

The Zarina Khatoon Museum-cum-Research center has a rich collection of ancient, Medieval and Modern Indian coins and as well as foreign and Indian paper money. Some of these coins were discovered from Archaeological sites of Ramgarh district.
